Yesterday, my son went to the park to go through these moments of confinement a little better due to the rise in cases of Covid.
He went out and ran a lot. He did “parkour”, as he likes to say.
When he returned, he began to complain of eye discomfort and that the glasses bothered him. He was with this discomfort until night. Before sleeping he went to wash his face well and realized that he had something in his eye. After several attempts with water and scrubbing, something small and black was removed. It was a small bug, which was in his eye all afternoon.
It made me think of the metaphor in this anecdote. Don’t have we all our own bug in the eye?
